WisprFoodTerms of Use
The short version
- WisprFood plans meals and estimates what they cost. Prices are estimates, so your receipt may differ.
- Subscriptions are billed by Apple and renew automatically until you cancel in your Apple account settings.
- Recipes and allergy filters are a help, not a guarantee: always check labels.
Who we are
WisprFood is provided by Kesitics Studios ("we"). By using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to WisprFood. If the two disagree, these terms apply where the law allows.
Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep access to that account safe, because it is how you reach your plan. You can delete your WisprFood account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account).
Subscriptions and free trial
- WisprFood offers a yearly and a monthly subscription. The price for your country is shown in the app before you buy.
- If a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Payment is taken by Apple from your Apple account. You manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
- Deleting the app or your WisprFood account does not cancel the subscription; cancel it with Apple as above.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies: reportaproblem.apple.com.
Prices are estimates
Meal and grocery prices in WisprFood are estimates built from published shelf prices and national price data. Shops change prices and run offers, and some countries and shops are estimated more roughly than others. Your actual spend may be higher or lower. We are not affiliated with any supermarket shown in the app, and their names and logos belong to their owners.
Food, diets and allergies
WisprFood is not a medical or nutrition service. Allergy and diet filters work from our recipe and ingredient information, which can contain mistakes, and product recipes change. Always read product labels and use your own judgement, especially for serious allergies. Nutrition figures are rounded averages, good for planning but not for medical use. Follow safe food-handling practice when cooking.
Fridge scan
Fridge scan identifies ingredients from a photo using AI and can get things wrong. Check the list before you rely on it. Scans may be limited per day to keep the service available for everyone.
Fair use
Use WisprFood for your own household. Don't copy, resell or scrape the app or its recipes and prices, try to break its security, or use it in a way that harms other people or the service.
Our content
The app, its recipes, photos, text and design belong to Kesitics Studios. Recipes you import from elsewhere stay on your phone and remain the property of their authors.
Changes and availability
We keep improving WisprFood, so features may change. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect. We aim to keep the app running, but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, WisprFood is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect losses or for differences between estimated and actual prices. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
